OUR STORY

It all started at the Glen Echo Park in Bethesda Maryland where resident artists offer classes in a wide range of media. While working full time as a scientific administrator at the National Institutes of Health I discovered Glen Echo Park. The Park is home numerous art studios and galleries, and resident artists. There I discovered kiln-formed fused glass and learned the fundamentals of working with Bullseye glass from several talented instructors. I built upon the basics and learned more advanced techniques and approaches from Nancy Weisser, her staff, and guest artists at Weisser Glass in Kensington, MD.

After retiring from NIH, and moving to the Glens Falls, NY area, I setup my own fused glass studio in the historic Shirt Factory, which is now home many art studios, galleries, shops, and services. I offer my work from my studio, as well as at art festivals throughout the region and other retail outlets.
